Dictionary and Conjugation Tables
The dictionary will display all of
the words that appear in the dialogues. If a verb is selected, you can call up its conjugation
table.
Limiting your Word List: You can limit your word list by selecting a specific word type
from the vertical button list, for example only nouns or only verbs, etc. To go back and
show all of the words, click on the ‘all’ button.
The Active Word : The active word and its translation, as well as its classification by
word type, will appear above the word list. Underneath the word you will also find an
example sentence with its translation.
Translation of the Example Sentence: By clicking on ‘natural’ or on ‘literal’ under
the translation of the example sentence you can choose whether the example sentence
should be translated naturally (like an English speaker would say it) or literally (sentence
structure like in the target language).
Listening: All the words and example sentences are recorded. Click on the play button in front of the active word, or in front of the
example sentence, to hear the word or sentence spoken.
Conjugation Tables : Verbs are linked to complete tables of conjugation. Click on the conjugation link to open the verb’s conjugation table. You can
choose the tense in which you want the conjugations to be shown on the left side of the
window.
